       Hand Embroidery Artisan - Marketing Strategy

       Demonstrate procedure for GI registration

       Objectives: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
       •  gain in-depth knowledge about GI tagged products, their production process and cultural significance
       •  learn about traditional practices, techniques and methods used in the production of GI tagged products
       •  analyse how GI tagging helps in protecting authenticity and preventing counterfeit products.


       PROCEDURE
       TASK 1: Practice to demonstrate for GI registration pre-visit planning

       1  Research and identify areas with GI-tagged Pashmina.  3  Encourage trainees to share their feedback with local
       2  Clearly outline the purpose of the field visit, such as   authorities, artisans, and stakeholders, and explore
          learning about Pashmina production, understanding    potential collaborations or initiatives
          the supply chain, or exploring market opportunities.  Step 1: Identify the raw material (pashmina)
